Official Clarification on the Change of Abbreviation from BLE to BEC

Borderless Education-Council hereby clarifies that the abbreviation BLE, used in certain earlier documents and institutional communications, has been replaced by BEC, the Council’s current abbreviation.
The full name of the organization remains Borderless Education-Council. The adoption of BEC is intended to establish a consistent and unified organizational identity across the Council’s website, educational programs, institutional communications, certificates, partnership arrangements, and other official materials.
Historical Documents and Existing Agreements
Historical documents, certificates, partnership agreements, affiliations, and other institutional records issued or executed under the abbreviation BLE World should be understood and interpreted in their original historical context.
The use of BLE World in such records does not, by itself, mean that the document is invalid or that the relevant institutional relationship has ended. Similarly, the change of abbreviation to BEC should not, by itself, be construed as creating a new agreement, terminating an existing agreement, or altering any contractual rights or obligations.
All existing agreements and institutional arrangements remain subject to their respective terms, the identity of the contracting parties, and applicable laws and regulations.
Use of the Current Abbreviation
With effect from the adoption of the current abbreviation, BEC (Borderless Education-Council) is the preferred designation for all new correspondence, institutional communications, partnership agreements, educational initiatives, certificates, and official publications.
Previously issued documents bearing the abbreviation BLE World may be retained as historical records. Where necessary, the Council may provide written clarification or supplementary documentation to establish continuity of its naming convention and institutional records.

Borderless Education Council remains committed to maintaining clear institutional communication, accurate records, and transparent relationships with its associated schools, universities, higher education institutions, educators, students, and other stakeholders.
This notice is intended to clarify the Council’s abbreviation and naming convention. It does not independently determine the validity, enforceability, or legal effect of any particular agreement or historical document.
